I worked with Barbara in the 1980's at GTE Mobilnet at E.9th & Carnegie Ave. in downtown Cleveland, OH. She was always very pleasant, thoughtful and a consummate professional. I'll always remember her arranging a surprise baby shower for my firstborn son at the office (he is 30 now). She would regularly stop by my desk to see if I had any recent pictures of my sons. She was very proud of her children as she went through the group picture of them on her desk noting what everyone was up to.

I am very sorry for your loss.

I am heartbroken to hear of My Aunt Barbara & Your Absolutely Incredibly Loving Mom. My only regret is that I can't be a part of Your Celebration of Her Life as I'm going through some interesting times but please know that My Heart, My Love & My Prayers are with My Aunt Barbara & each & everyone of you. I Love & Miss You All So Much & Please Lean on Each Other for Strength to Carry You Through This Incredibly Difficult Time as Your Mom & Dad, My Aunt Barbara & Uncle Jimmy have Instilled in You All To Do.
Your Loving Cousin Steve & Family. God Bless My Aunt Barbara & All of You.

We have never met Mrs. McKendry but we do know her children- and we can only assume that they are a shining example of the type of woman she was. Mr. and Mrs. McKendry raised the kindest and most generous people we have ever had the honor of knowing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to each of the family members, many of which are my co-workers, as you move through this time of both grief at the loss of such a wonderful woman and celebration of a life well lived. God Bless.
