Memories & Candles
Dear Bokoch Family,
I had the honor and pleasure of working with John on numerous jobs in the trade. Every job that John was on was a "good" job. Talented in his profession and hilarious to work with. He often spoke fondly of his wife and kids and his love for basketball was unmatched. We grew up in the same neighbor hood and had a lot in common. I was shocked to see his name in the labor newspaper, another good

Dear Karen
We have just learned of the sad news.
We remember John as a great coach at Incarnate
World when he coached my son's (Christopher Huzau) team. Another great one has left us.
No words can be found to describe the great man he was.
Yours truly
George and Olivia Huzau

I really enjoyed working with John before his retirement. An excellent tradesman, he was never without a smile and a sense of humor. Praying for "the comfort of God" to be with the family during this difficult time.

Extremely sorry for your loss. Mr. Bokoch was my baseketball coach in middle school and his son was also my coach in high school. He was a good man and a good coach and I have great memories from those times in my life.

Mary Ann, This is going to sound so weird, but one very strong memory I have of your brother is:
We were in your parent's kitchen and John was going to fix himself something to eat, so he filled a large saucepan with (a lot of) water, added one hot dog, and placed it on the stove. Your Mom looked at this and said, "Are you going to cook that hot dog or drown it?" Your brother was not amused, but
