We will always remember the joy Mel brought to all the softball games at SHS and Explosive. She was such a great cheerleader for the team and always made Kyle enjoy the games too. God bless the family at this time. Prayers continue...

We should know that Melinda is in a better place, but it so hard to know that we won't see her walking the halls of SMS, going to Special Olympic events with Kyle, or with her loving family. Melinda could not only make someone smile but make you laugh out loud with her sense of humor. She was an inspiring person! Our thoughts are prayers are with Bruce and the kids. God Bless!

My family and I all send our deepest sympathy to your family for this tremendous loss. Mel was always smiling and quick to help anyone. I was lucky enough to work with Mel at Kinsner for 8 years, as well as spend time with her and her family outside of school. We always were sure to email each other on our birthdays. I will miss those yearly messages! My thoughts and prayers are with your family.B2JGV

I am so sorry about Melinda's tragic and untimely death. I only meet her once at Mel and Greg's wedding but I know how special she was to you all. It must be particularly difficult for Kyle. You are in my thoughts.

Melinda was a great teacher to several of my children at Kinsner Elementary, and was a friend/teacher to each of them. She made them feel welcomed and cared about during a time in their lives when children can be not friendly or caring towards others. She will be missed

So sad. Spent lot of time with Melinda and Daughter Megan plus son Kyle and Bruce and occasionally Anna. My younger daughter Kris was a teammate of Megan for Soccer and Fastpitch including Travel Teams. If not helping with the sports Melinda would preparing a packed lunch or snack or organising the evening time while traveling. Always
positive and fun. Raising great kids and obviously deeply in love with Bruce. Blessed with Kyle, he and I did a lot of
